Stripy fox

That one is for a baby girl in France, special order. No buttons for the eyes, but felt, it's safer...

First Day

Kyan just had his first day at Kindergarten. A big step, albeit not so impressive to him who had been in daycare since he was very young. After a quick tryout on Wednesday for an hour at lunch, where I had to literally drag him (very comic book-like), he was super excited to start school for good. I'm guessing the change was more difficult for Anastasia, who had packed a couple of her toys to keep Kyan's company at nap time. When we picked Kyan up at the end of the day, he said, he had a really great day...

The island in the marsh

Little walk around a small island surrounded by marshland, 15 minutes from our house. In the background, you can see the fog stretching over the bay. Endless fog with its cold breeze which has been making our Summer grey and chilly for weeks.

Armadillo jacket

I had picked this fabric from a textile printing contest without knowing what to do with it. Since Kyan was a big fan of the design, I made him a little japanese jacket with a hood...

Fuzzy ball

We have someone new in the house: Neo. After another stay at the emergency room, a surgery and a gigantic vet bill last Spring, we couldn't save our very sick Mojo. Now that we're all back home, we thought that Milo was ready for a new friend, and took a trip to the SPCA. Although Neo is a bit younger then expected (we were looking for a friend a bit closer in age to Milo, who's 8), he is very calm, albeit fiercely playful, and very affectionate. He's also starting to be quite a chatter, a bit of a competition for Milo who's very vocal, and the kids, who just never stop talking...
After a quick secluded stay to get used to his new home, Neo is now roaming freely in the house. No problems between felines, they're slowly getting used to each other, no claws or teeth, but kisses on the noses.

Two little foxes...

Still made out of socks... A little pink polka dot fox for Anastasia, and a blue one for Kyan...

Baltimore Canyon

We were looking for a small stream to build houses on the water... The river was pretty much dry, but we found a fabulous hollow tree stump, perfect for a volcano-house...
