Anastasia finally celebrated her fourth birthday. She has been very patient since she's been counting days for a while. For the occasion, we had a real party with her little friends, and a guy who came with a whole bunch of animals... Even Grand-Maman and Grand-Papa were here...

A train in the garden
Latest idea of Michael: set up a train in the garden, around our tiny pond. The mechanics are still working on a few details, but the train is already showing up regularly.
My new bike
Not exactly a racing model, but perfect to run errands. I had been dreaming about it and finally splurged. And check out the cute basket in front...

Latest creations
Way too much work at ILM at the moment and not enough time to gather nice pictures, but I'm staying put (I spotted a couple of lemurs in underpants at home last night, I'm hoping they will come out again tonight...). Meanwhile, here are a few of my latest creations: a mariniere with crabs for Kyan, a purple kimono with big flowers for Anastasia, and a little Summer dress cut in one of my latest fabrics. I designed the print based on one of our friends' dog, Charly, who's a great model.

Our little bicycles...
The new bikes are going really well. Michael made a little movie about their adventures with the kids. And no, the movie wasn't shot in 1956... To view the movie, click HERE...

January at the beach
Our Summer finally showed up, sometime between the end of December and the middle of January. We even went to the beach on Saturday, and we weren't the only ones. The kids enjoyed building islands and volcanoes, and digging rivers for their dinosaurs.
That was on Saturday. On Sunday, we were back in big sweater mode, the temperatures are freezing every night, and we already experienced our first power loss of the year (not much to do with the outside temperatures, rather with the lack of maintenance of the electrical circuit in the area, but without electricity, no heater, which is always fun when it's chilly). The rain should be settling in for a while now.
