The best week of the year is back, a week by the Mediterranean in the South of France with our family... Sadly, Michael didn't make it this year... Lots of sand, waves and sun...

Diploma

Kyan graduated from Kindergarten. A very serious step, apparently...

Kyan is turning 6

He's been dreaming about it for a long time, to have his birthday at the Lego Store with his friends. After playing with a whole bunch of special dino pieces, the kiddos learned how to build little vessels on tracks, before moving to the race track... As for the cake, we came up with a rugged terrain made of chocolate, nuts and marshmallows, perfect for dinosaurs...

Weekend in Los Angeles

After numerous failed attempts, we finally made it to our friends in LA (Santa Monica to be fair, it's much nicer then just LA). Kyan, Anastasia and I drove down on Friday, and Michael joined us on Sunday. What a treat to see the Doreaux again, to chat while sketching with Delphine, and the kids were thrilled to see their buddy Etienne again. We even managed to go see the dinosaurs at the museum, and the mammoths at the Tar Pit.
And about the pictures taken at the beach, all three kids were wearing clothing from my creation. What an honor...

Kyan the Tour Guide

The other night was Open House Night at Kyan's school. Each kindergarten pupil was walking around with a board, a pencil and a visor, and giving his/her family a tour of the most important places in their classroom, and then to the art class, the music class, to end up in the first grade quarters. All the little guides did a fantastic job.

Tiny waves

Success... We managed to take the kids kayaking... The last time we tried, their screams alarmed half of the people on the beach. This time we went for a nice trip between the boats and visited the seals.

Long absence

And I'm back. No real explanation for this long silence, other then the fact that I'm not at work lately and am not spending much time in front of a computer. And also that I went hiking in Rajasthan for a while. I'm planning to edit my journal into a blog, but until it's ready, you can browse a few pictures below.
